Sprucefield had a fantastic turn out for the U105 Final live on the mall with Frank Mitchell. Across the radio and social media in the week leading up to the big event, 37 £25 gift cards for Marks and Spencer were given away. All of the qualifiers had the chance to be in to win the bigger £1000 prize!
With lots of lively activities including a round of heads or tales, five finalists made to the last challenge. This involved seeking out six key items from the Sprucefield store. The person with the basket total that was as close to Frank’s U105 basket total was the winner of £1000 to spend in Sprucefield. The crazy 30 minute dash provided some serious entertainment as the finalists ran to pick up on the shopping list.
Taking 1st place was Hazel Burrows. Winning £1000 to spend at Sprucefield, she chose x2 £200 Boots Gift Cards at (£400), x2 £200 Next Gift Cards (£400), x1 £200 M&S Gift Cards which she kindly planned to gift to her children.
In second place Tommy McShane won a £200 Sprucefield Gift card. Tommy treated him to a new pair of jeans. At the request of his wife, he treated his house to a little autumn update with a funky new mirror from M&S.
Bridget Corr came in third- choosing to treat herself to £100 in Next and £50 in Boots vouchers.
We hope the winners loved their prizes and have put their vouchers to great use at Sprucefield retailers!
